Hello, San Antonio . Welcome to our live Election Day blog. Ballots will be cast in Bexar County today until 7 p.m. when polls close. More than 570,000 voters cast their ballots during the early voting period that ended on Friday. Bexar County Elections Administrator Jacque Callanen expects as many as 160,000 people to head to the polls today.

In District 118, state Rep. John Lujan and Democratic challenger Kristian Carranza have drawn impressive contributions from across the state.
