Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22.
Echo & the Bunnymen formed in 1978 in Liverpool, England, with the original line-up consisting of vocalist Ian McCulloch, guitarist Will Sergeant, bassist Les Pattinson and two years later added drummer Pete de Freitas. In their formative years, the band played English clubs alongside popular bands such as Madness and Bad Manners.
The band developed a cult following after their debut album, “Crocodiles,” and then hit mainstream success in the UK charts with the single “The Cutter,” off of the band’s third album. By 1987, McCulloch left the band and pursued a solo career and after a few member changes, the group officially disbanded in 1993. McCulloch and Sergeant went on to reform Echo & the Bunnymen in 1997 and released the album, “Evergreen.
