An Algonquin letter to the editor: Fencepost writer Dan Valosk writes about the cocaine incident at the White House, and fills his letter with several leading questions meant to persuade the reader that something nefarious is going on.

Fencepost writer Dan Valosek writes about the cocaine incident at the White House, and fills his letter with several leading questions meant to persuade the reader that something nefarious is going on. Who found it? Where was it found? Was it checked for fingerprints? He asks.

In less than a few minutes, I was able to search Google and answer all his questions. It was found by the Secret Service in a vestibule in the White House near the West Executive entrance, in a cubby off the foyer where visitors store their cellphones. The Secret Service checked it for fingerprints and DNA, and found none. Camera footage was examined and found no suspicious activity during the period. Rather than questioning the over 500 people who had access, the case was closed.
