The survey also revealed that among the two in three Americans that celebrate Easter, more than 90% will likely indulge in a decadent treat.
Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs took the crown in 29 states. Tied for second place, and popular in five states each, are Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Starburst Easter Jellybeans and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate.
“When it comes to Easter candy, there’s no denying that chocolate reigns supreme, with seven out of the top 10 candies repping cocoa,” the survey said. Instacart also assessed food trends for this holiday, which is known for its variety of special and meaningful dishes.
