Honor Elementary School will welcome its first students when classes for the 2024-2025 school year start Aug. 7.
East Central Independent School District’s newest elementary school will welcome its first class of students next month. The rapidly growing district hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week to celebrate its new campus, Honor Elementary School , which will open its doors when the school year starts Aug. 7. The school, at 3580 North Graytown Road in Converse , was built with funds from a $240 million bond approved by voters in 2022 to address overcrowding in the district.

Valor Middle School is being built a few miles away from Honor Elementary School, next to Tradition Elementary School, and is expected to open in 2026.
