Eagles fans couldn’t help but troll the Giants after Saquon Barkley’s big night in a 26-18 win over the Commanders on Thursday night.
Barkley — who signed a three-year, $37.75 million contract with Philadelphia after six seasons with the Giants in March — rushed for 146 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns to extend the Eagles’ lead in the NFC East.
He scored two touchdowns 20 seconds apart — with a Jayden Daniels’ interception squeezed in between — in the fourth quarter to turn a 12-10 Eagles lead into a 16-point advantage.after the game. “The city’s great. Culture here is amazing. But most importantly, we got the win. There’s a lot of stuff we can clean up. I can be better at a lot, too, but at the end of the day, NFC East divisional rival opponent, come in here on Thursday night and get a win, it’s big time.
