Queens man Oscar Vargas was collared for breaking into a car after getting away with two other such strikes, police and sources said.
breaking into a carThe suspect, Oscar Vargas, 40, of Corona was found inside a car that wasn’t his and arrested at 12:15 a.m. Friday in front of 34-39 86th Street in Jackson Heights, the sources said.
Further investigation revealed Vargas had broken into two other cars nearby at 5 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., the sources said. Vargas is no stranger to law enforcement. He has 16 arrests for grand larceny, criminal possession of a controlled substance, petty larceny and burglary, police sources said.“Another example of revolving-door justice,” groused a Queens cop, “We keep arresting them and they keeping getting out.”
