Deputies found the intoxicated 7-week-old old baby at a home in Rialto. The child's mother, 37-year-old Honesti De La Torre, has since been arrested for child endangerment.
That's where deputies found the intoxicated baby, who was taken to the hospital by paramedics.
According to officials, the child's mother, 37-year-old Honesti De La Torre of Rialto, was driving through the area when she stopped to put alcohol in her baby's bottle and give it to the baby to stop the child from crying.
