Krugh said an arrest warrant was issued for Hoskin. On July 25, he was arrested by Mesa County Sheriff’s Office officials in Grand Junction, Colo. He is awaiting extradition to San Diego County.
The pickup has not been recovered, Krugh said. It was described as a white 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 with chrome trim, running board, mud flaps and a tow hitch. Its license plate number is 51340A2. Investigators asked anyone with information about the incident or the location of the pickup to call the homicide unit at 285-6330 or the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line 580-8477.
