Driver released under investigation after young child left with serious injuries after crash
A driver has been released under investigation following a crash that left a young child with 'potentially life-threatening injuries'. Emergency services were called to the collision on York Street in Heywood, Rochdale last Friday night .
Police confirmed the driver was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving as part of the investigation. They have since been released under investigation while enquiries continue. Paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service were also on scene to assess the child who was taken to hospital with what was described as 'potentially life-threatening injuries' at the time.
