The collision occurred Thursday morning at Raymond Avenue and California Boulevard.

A driver and a train conductor were injured Thursday after a Camry collided with a Metro A Line train at Raymond Avenue and California Boulevard in Pasadena. The Pasadena woman, who was driving from a dialysis treatment, blacked out while driving toward the railroad tracks and ran into the train as it was crossing, a police statement said.

Firefighters rescued the driver, whose injuries, police said, included a fractured back and swelling of the brain. Her current medical condition was not revealed.The train conductor was also hurt during the collision at Raymond Avenue and California Boulevard at 9:18 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28.
