One person dead following shooting on Columbus' Northeast Side.
Linda Johnson had been walking into her daughter's house around 8 p.m. Thursday when a car drove down Aberdeen Avenue on Columbus' Northeast Side.
Johnson, whom a relative said was called"Nanny" by everyone, whether they were her biological grandchild or not, died at 8:22 p.m. Thursday at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital.Columbus declared gun violence a public health crisis in 2022. What's changed since then? Evidence technicians were photographing what appeared to be bullet holes in the side of the home, as well as damage to at least two vehicles parked outside the home.
