Phoenix police responded to a report of shots fired near 29th Avenue and Madison Street where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. They have now identified him.
On Monday, just after midnight, Phoenix police found 46-year-old Mark Resendez in the driveway of his residence. Police say early information indicates Resendez was in front of his residence when an unknown vehicle drove by and began shooting at him. Resendez was taken to the hospital where he died. Detectives took over the investigation. Nobody has been arrested.
