Dr. John Watson uses his detective skills in the first teaser for Watson. Morris Chestnut plays Dr. Watson in the upcoming CBS series that is both a medical drama and an investigative story. It is set in present-day Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as Dr. Watson deals with difficult medical cases and must contend with his best friend, Sherlock Holmes, having died at the hands of the villainous James Moriarty.
Dr. Watson's many talents as a medical professional and a former consulting detective are teased, as is his ability to take firsthand risks, as the end of the teaser sees him jumping into a stormy ocean. The Pittsburgh setting is also highlighted by a shot of the city's picturesque Duquesne Incline making its descent.
