Dozens of jobs could be created if plans for a new Nottingham car showroom are approved
Dozens of jobs would be created if plans for a new Nottingham car showroom are approved. Vacant land at the NG2 Business Park on Enterprise Way, Nottingham would be transformed into a new Volvo showroom and workshop if Nottingham City Council approves the plans.
The new Volvo dealership would create 30 new full time jobs and neighbour Jaguar Land Rover and Mercedes car dealerships. The existing building will be repurposed for a brand "better suited in scale and volume to the premises available", according to planning documents.Whilst Volvo staff at Valley Road will transfer to the new showroom if it is approved, new positions will be created in both sales and aftersales roles.
