Crews and vendors spent Friday morning and afternoon putting the final touches on their booths and ensuring all is set for the annual free event.
“Ya know, this is an exciting time for the city of Jonesboro, but not just the city, the region,” Mayor Harold Copenhaver said. “This is a combination of everyone coming together and working together. This is going to be a larger event, we have so many activities going on,” Mayor Copenhaver said. With several musical artists set to perform this weekend, country music singer Priscella Block will take the stage with Jonesboro natives, the Band TRIPP.

Now, it wouldn’t be the barbecue fest without barbecue. Darren May is on the committee for the festival.
