Donnie Wahlberg has been hosting and executive producing ‘Very Scary People’ since 2019
Donnie Wahlberg is back in action as the host of Very Scary People — and come 2025, his wife, Jenny McCarthy, will be joining him for a spinoff series.
In Us’ exclusive first look at the new season, the case of Anthony Sowell is the first to be investigated. Sowell lured women to his home in Cleveland during the early 2000s before torturing, raping and murdering them, earning him the nickname The Cleveland Strangler. “Dead men tell no tales,” one woman warned in the trailer. A detective explained that during one of the investigations they “had no idea what pandora’s box we were about to open up.”
In addition to hosting and working as an executive producer on Very Scary People, Wahlberg will team up with McCarthy, 52, for a one-hour spinoff called Very Scary Lovers. The couple will cohost the special, which airs on Sunday, February 2.
