Former President Donald Trump on his social media platform Truth Social pondered the possibility that President Joe Biden 'crashes' the Democratic National Convention in an attempt to 'take back the nomination' from Vice President Kamala Harris.Biden more than two weeks ago announced that he was dropping out of the 2024 presidential election after a disappointing debate performance and a wave of Democratic pressure, while also endorsing Harris for the top of the ticket.
Harris on Tuesday announced her choice for vice president, naming Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate. In a post to X, formerly Twitter, Harris said in part, 'As a governor, a coach, a teacher, and a veteran, he's delivered for working families like his. It's great to have him on the team. Now let's get to work.
