Legendary and beloved actor Donald Sutherland has passed away at the age of 88 following a battle with what is being described as a long illness.began his acting career in 1960 and has appeared in countless high-profile roles, including starring in films like The Dirty Dozen, MS*H, Don’t Look Now, JFK, The Italian Job, Pride & Prejudice, and most notably for audiences now, as President Snow in the Hunger Games franchise.
Throughout his career, Sutherland has received tons of accolades for his work. In 1995, he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his work in Citizen X. He’s also won two Golden Globes for his roles in Citizen X and Path to War. In 2017, he received an honorary Academy Award for his longstanding career and work.
