The Los Angeles Dodgers are surprisingly designating a former All-Star for assignment as another former All-Star returns from the injured list.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have made a surprising roster decision.On Thursday the Dodgers designated veteran outfielder Jason Heyward for assignment and activated Chris Taylor from the injured list. This definitely wasn't an easy decision for the Dodgers, as Heyward is a great veteran presence in the clubhouse and a best friend of All-Star first baseman Freddie Freeman. However, the Dodgers are in win-now mode boasting a roster littered with superstars, and ultimately made the decision that designating Heyward for assignment was the best move for the organization.
