For all the talk about the pitching entering the series, it was the batters who cost them this season.
The two stars that led the Dodgers all season long, Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts, went a combined 1-21 in the series. And when your two best players perform like that, it's difficult to beat anyone.“It’s hard to put into words. It’s just frustrating and, me and a lot of us didn’t play the way we wanted to.”Normally a reliable bat in the Dodgers lineup, Freeman fell off the rails completely. He couldn't do much of anything against Arizona, and it cost this team.
