Twenty years ago, they laughed at us. Now, they are fighting us. Soon, we win. The documentary comes in the wake of death threats that McBride received after a House hearing where a colleague referred to him as Mister, using a term that is factually accurate given his biological sex.

Hannah Knudsen, writing for a conservative outlet, criticized the Presbyterian Church USA for its liberal stance on LGBTQ issues, arguing that the denomination claims to stand for justice but ignores basic tenets of Gods perfect and original design, such as marriage remaining between a man and a woman.
