DJ Khaled says new single 'Higher' to benefit late rapper Nipsey Hussle's kids.
DJ Khaled is raising money for the late Nipsey Hussle's children, announcing Wednesday night that he's got a benefit single on the way.
"Recently, I embarked on a soul-searching journey down a road I never thought I would travel in a million years," Khaled wrote on Instagram."It began when a tragedy robbed the world of an enlightened soul, a brother a father, a partner and my friend, Nipsey Hussle." Khaled's post continues:"Just days prior, he shared his energy and positivity with me on a video set for a song called, 'Higher.' After much prayer and reflection; and with the full blessing of the Asghedom family, I am sharing that moment with you.
Thousands attended Hussle's funeral at Staples Center in Los Angeles, including Snoop Dogg, Stevie Wonder and other icons.
