🇪🇸🇬🇧 Spain and Britain are reportedly close to a deal on the status of Gibraltar, but those living there say the anxiety over their future is making it difficult to cope

The relationship between Gibraltar and the European Union and how to police the border with Spain have been points of contention since. The peninsula was excluded from the exit deal reached between Britain and the EU. George Dyke, president of the Cross Frontier Group, which is composed of businesses and unions on both sides of the border, said Gibraltarians and Spaniards alike were anxious for a deal.
The Cross Frontier Group wrote to British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez calling on both to reach a speedy resolution for Gibraltar.
