A Texas high school coach never expected to become an unlikely hero.
'When I saw the man hit a female, that was just wrong': Coach who broke up Disneyland brawl speaks outEL PASO, Texas — A Texas high school coach never expected the 'happiest place on Earth' to turn into a site for a brawl while on vacation.
Jason Blair, a football coach at Hanks High School in El Paso, said he first thought his fellow Disneyland attendees were filming characters from the park. He didn't realize it was a fight until he saw two men yelling at two women. An older woman got out of a motorized wheelchair and ended up on the ground. Blair helped the older woman back on her feet.
Blair, who was a bouncer for three years while attending the University of Texas at El Paso, said instinct probably kicked in.
