Disney is seeking to have a wrongful death case dismissed because a grieving husband had signed up for a Disney+ membership.Disney's lawyers argue that the terms and conditions of the Disney+ streaming service state that any disputes, of any nature, must be settled out of court.
'The term 'Subscriber Agreement' was underlined in blue font and provided a hyperlink directly to the document. Piccolo also agreed to the Disney Terms of Use. Piccolo could not have created a Disney account without doing so.'Tangsuan, a medical doctor, allegedly died because her meal at the Raglan Road Irish Pub contained nuts and dairy. The lawsuit claims she repeatedly warned restaurant staff that she was allergic to both.
