Disney stock opened at a record high after the company announced its $6.99/month streaming service

Walt Disney Co.’s stock opened at a record high Friday after the company updated investors on plans for its new streaming service Disney+. Shares of Disney rose about 10% from Thursday’s close to open at $127.91, bringing their gains so far this year to 17%. Shares traded as high as $130.26, breaking the previous intraday record set in August of 2015.
