Diddy insists he’s actually not paying Sting $5,000 a day for the “Every Breath You Take” sample on “I’ll Be Missing You.”

“I want y’all to understand I was joking!” Diddy wrote on Twitter Friday, April 7. “It’s called being Facetious! Me and @OfficialSting have been friends for a long time!
