The New Jersey Devils face the Carolina Hurricanes in Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs starting Wednesday.

, still riding high on the momentum of Monday’s Game 7 blowout win over the rival Rangers, will face the division-champion Carolina Hurricanes in Game 1 of the second round Stanley Cup playoffs series on Wednesday.

Despite losing top-six scoring threats Max Pacioretty, Andrei Svechnikov and Teuvo Teravainen to injuries this season, the Hurricanes will still be a tough out for the young Devils roster. Nobody knows that better than Devils forward, who played for the Hurricanes in 2019-20 and has lost to them in the playoffs two seasons in a row.
