Construction has started on the mixed-use Central development north of downtown.A $2.5 billion development that has just broken ground north of downtown Dallas will include an office building along with an apartment tower.is being built on U.S. Highway 75 at Haskell Street. A project of De La Vega Development, The Central is one of the largest such projects in Dallas and is planned for up to 4 million square feet of office, residential, and retail space, along with a large central park.
StreetLights Residential has begun construction on a a 351-unit apartment tower that’s the first phase of the project.“The Central will become the most inspiring mixed-use projects in the city,” JLL’s T.D. Briggs said in a statement. “StreetLight’s tower will set the stage for the quality and services we all expect in our personal and corporate experience.”The apartment tower is set to open in 2025.StreetLights Residential is working on in the Dallas area.
