KENINGAU: Sook Sub-District, which has been approved by the State Cabinet as a full district, is undergoing border-setting discussions with nearby districts such as Tongod, Nabawan, Keningau and Tambunan.

“We are waiting for their letters. Essentially, they have agreed to and support Sook, which will expedite the process,” he said after inaugurating the breaking of fast with community leaders, teachers and pre-university students from various districts as well as attending the “Jasamu Dikenang En Pancratius Primus” ceremony at SMK Sook, on Tuesday.
He said once the borders with nearby districts were finalised, the declaration and launch of Sook sub-district as a full district would be completed in the near future.During the event, 15 recipients comprising underprivileged students received basic needs assistance worth RM150 per person.
