The official start of New York Fashion Week isn't until tomorrow, but Krost founder Samuel Krost and designer Christian Cowan kicked off the festivities a little bit early

kicked off the festivities a little bit early, gathering their friends and peers to toast the start of a new season. Models Kendall Visser, Meghan Roche, and Victoria Germyn were among the members of fashion’s rising in crowd who made it out to see pieces from Cowan and Krost’s recent collections at Naked, a boutique space off of the 11 Howard hotel.

While Cowan is known for launching fun, free-spirited collaborations right alongside his regular collections, the night celebrated nothing in particular. “I adore collaborating with other people,” he said. “I think learning from others is so much fun. But then I was like, Why do we need to wait until we collaborate? Let’s celebrate before as well!”

While Krost and Cowan admitted that working together in the future isn’t necessarily out of the question, both spent the evening fully immersed in the moment. “Everyone’s asking if there’s a special purpose behind tonight’s event,” said Krost. “Full transparency: not necessarily! Christian is someone I’ve been friends with for some time now. I called him up and asked if he wanted to join forces—really just to bring our friends together.
