Ward is tied for fourth in franchise history in pass breakups and is seventh in the league in that category since his rookie season as well.“Everything happens for a reason and when stuff is meant for you, that’s when it will come to you, so I wasn’t pressed or I wasn’t in a rush to get a deal done,” Ward said.
There’s a sense of pride for Ward in being included in that group, and said the extensions provide further motivation.
