Storms developing over the mountains will spread eastward across Colorado's Front Range urban corridor, hitting Denver and gaining momentum as they reach the high plains
Thunderstorms bringing potentially damaging hail, bursts of wind, and heavy rain leading to flooding will roll across metro Denver Thursday afternoon, according to theMostly sunny skies were expected after clouds cleared early Thursday morning, until around 2 p.m., weather service forecasters said.
The high temperature in Denver will be 87 degrees, decreasing to 60 degrees at night, forecasters said. On Friday, the high is expected to be 89 degrees.Storms will develop by early afternoon, and then organize and strengthen as they move east across the plains. Damaging winds and large hail will be the highest threats.
