The temperature at Denver International Airport got down to -11 degrees, breaking the previous record of -7 degrees set in 2022

It won’t stay as cold during the day Thursday, but wind chills could still be in the negatives.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, and the high will get up to 25 degrees in Denver. Some areas in the northern metro area will likely stay in the teens through the day, and the southern side of the metro could temperatures in the 30s.The overnight snow has ended for now, but a light band of snow could develop over portions of the Interstate 25 corridor in the late evening.

The low Thursday night is eight degrees, and there is a 40% chance of that snow developing in Denver. Friday will see a return to 40-degree weather with a high of 41 degrees, then Saturday is back to the 50s through next week.
