Skies over the metro area will be partly sunny to mostly sunny through the weekend with seasonal temperatures and little, if any, precipitation expected until midweek.
In Denver on Saturday the high temperature will be near 54 degrees with winds gusting to 24 mph, according to theThere’s a chance for light rain and snow showers across the Palmer Divide Saturday afternoon, winds are expected to gust up to 40 mph in some areas along the urban corridor as a cold front pushes through northeastern Colorado, according to the weather service.
Tonight in Denver skies will be mostly cloudy and the low temperature will be near 27 degrees. On Sunday in the city skies will be partly sunny and the high temperature hit around 46 degrees.Sunday and Monday, limited travel impacts are expected, the weather service said. It will be mostly dry across the plains.
More snow is expected for the mountains Sunday. Even though amounts are expected to be light , this may lead to slushy roads conditions and slow traffic returning from the mountains.
