The urban corridor will see temperatures in the 40s and 50s Thursday, and Denver’s high will be a moderate 47 degrees as sunny skies continue.
Some light wind may develop in the afternoon.
The warming trend will continue overnight with Denver’s low of 21 degrees. Snow cover could lessen the warming effect, but Friday and the weekend are set to be the warmest days in a while with highs all above 50 degrees. Mountain valleys could also see warmer temperatures, but much drier air there will limit cloud cover and cool those areas more than expected.
Friday and Saturday will be windy on the east slopes of the Front Range, with gusts up to 40 mph common and some areas experiencing 60 mph gusts. Some snow is possible in the mountains over the weekend, but snow will stay out of Denver’s forecast until at least Monday.
