The cold front has moved out and warmer weather is back for most of the Denver metro area through this weekend and next week. ☀️ cowx
The mountains and plains will be much colder, as lows in the high country got as low as -20 Friday morning. The mountains and mountain valleys will stay the coldest in northern Colorado with highs of 15 to 25 degrees, and the plains will stay in the 30s.
Friday’s clear skies will lead to a cooler night in Denver, as the low is 26 degrees, but temperatures will bounce back up on sunny Saturday to 56 degrees. Saturday night will be a bit warmer with a high of 28 degrees, and a slight cooling event Sunday will drop high temperatures to right around 50 degrees.
Temperatures will stay in the 50s Monday and Tuesday, then snow is back in the Denver forecast Wednesday. The storm Wednesday is likely to produce decent snowfall in the area and will drop high temperatures below freezing for several days.
