The Supreme Court’s decision to ban affirmative action struck a political divide, with Democrats roundly condemning the ruling while Republicans praised it.
Thursday morning, arguing it “once again reversed decades of settled law” and “rolled back the march toward racial justice” by deciding two colleges’ race-minded admissions policies violate the 14th Amendment right to equal protection and unfairly disadvantage white and Asian-American college applicants.
