"We're ecstatic at the opportunity to host fans at Dell Diamond for this rare event," Round Rock Express President Chris Almendarez said. "Our ballpark is going to be the best place in Central Texas to take in the eclipse and we're excited for the community to enjoy this historic moment with us."CBS Austin meteorologist Avery Tomasco will be on-site to count down to the eclipse and provide a breakdown of what fans will see.Gates will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“The eclipse in Round Rock is expected to start at 12:17 p.m., with totality lasting from 1:36 p.m. until 1:39 p.m. The sun will be fully visible again around 2:58 p.m.,” the press release said.
