Deku looking happy in My Hero Academia.
Summary My Hero Academia's timeskip epilogue gave Deku a new career as a teacher at UA, and while many fans may be let down that the story didn't end with Deku as the #1 hero, this ending is actually a far more fitting one for Deku's character than it might appear at first. Deku's personality and skill set are actually the perfect fit for a hero teacher.
Deku makes it clear that while he misses doing hero work, he's perfectly satisfied with his new career, shaping the heroes of tomorrow. Deku also has something that no one else alive has: experience with wielding a wide variety of Quirks. Deku's personal experience as a hero student saw him using all the different Quirks within One for All, which range from ranged attacks like Blackwhip to utility abilities like Smokescreen.
