According to an arrest report, obtained by TMZ, Allen was puffing on a cigarette as the suspect was lying in wait behind a pole outside the Four Seasons Hotel in Fort Lauderdale Beach., then ran toward Allen at full speed, striking him and knocking him backward and slamming his head on the ground. The report says a woman came out of the hotel to try to help Allen, but Hartley also knocked her to the ground.
The woman got up and tried to run back into the hotel, but cops say Hartley grabbed her by the hair and dragged her back outside.
