) - The Decatur Police Department has identified and obtained warrants for protestors who blocked the Hudson Memorial Bridge on Thursday evening.
The group blocked the southbound lanes of traffic on the bridge to protest the recent officer-involved shooting of Steve Perkins. According to a post by the Decatur Police Department, numerous individuals from that protest have been identified and arrest warrants have been obtained charging them with Disorderly Conduct.“It took them four days to get me,” Gordon said. “The hitman is at home getting paid, while the others are working the desk. I don’t know why they’d give out warrants for the other people because they were behind me. If my car won’t move, their cars can’t move.
Decatur police say demonstrators should have the right, as well as the space, to protest, But they will continue to arrest anyone who blocks a major roadway. The department says they are attempting to contact the individuals so that they can turn themselves in if they choose to do so.City of Prattville hosts Parade of Pumpkins
