Summary While DC and Marvel each have their own fans, there's little those fans love more than when there's a crossover between the two companies. These crossovers have happened a few times over the years, but unfortunately, fans were robbed of one of the potential biggest crossovers yet, which comics writer Scott Snyder recently revealed on his X account.
Snyder revealed that when the Source Wall was destroyed, his original pitch was for the Silver Surfer to be on the other side and for it to be the Marvel Universe that was beyond the Source Wall. This twist would've been an amazing moment in comics history, but unfortunately, Snyder's pitch was ultimately rejected.
The Source Wall Breaking in Metal Was Meant to Be a Major Crossover Dark Nights: Metal #6 by Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Jonathan Glapion, FCO Plascencia, and Steve Wands For another major Big Two crossover, fans should keep their eyes out for the DC Versus Marvel: The Amalgam Age omnibus, which is available everywhere comics and books are sold October 8th, 2024.
