DC Comics has announced its latest mobile content initiative, DC GO!, which will launch next month with a roster of original ongoing titles, in addition to making a number of iconic stories and publications accessible on mobile platforms for the first time. Published on DC Universe Infinite, GO! and its new exclusive titles are being heralded as"a new frontier of webcomics."
Webcomic Collection DC GO! Launches With A Trio Of Exciting Exclusive Titles, Along With Some Classics Available November 20, 2024 On Mobile Devices Through DC Universe Infinite Close According to DC, the imminent debut of DC GO! represents the next evolution of the comic book medium's integration with modern technology. As DC General Manager Anne DePies explained:
Related 20 Best DC Comics of All Time, Ranked From Batman to Superman, the Justice League, Sandman, the Watchmen, and more, these are the greatest DC Comics stories ever told. In this sense, DC is doing more than just betting big on mobile comics – it is investing resources into making DC GO! the premiere place for readers to go for the best webcomics superhero stories, in a targeted expansion of the publisher's legacy in the industry.
3 The mobile-exclusive Raven series, meanwhile, promises a"sword-and-sorcery quest" for the Titans hero, suggesting it will test the limits of the new collection in ways that the other two titles might not. In a way, that makes it the most exciting of the three, given that it may very well showcase just how well DC has been able to create these stories specifically for consumption on mobile devices.
