A 24-year-old Dallas woman has been charged with manslaughter in relation to the March 17 collision in Grand Prairie.
Clesiz Leiva, 24, is facing one count of intoxication manslaughter and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, “Officers located several Truly alcoholic beverages inside of the Dodge, along with smelling the odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from the Suspect vehicle,” the affidavit says.for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Officers believe Leiva’s 2019 Dodge was driving south and entered the northbound lane, smashing the front driver side of each vehicle together.Roads were wet from morning rain, an officer noted in the affidavit.
