The cello section in the Dallas Symphony Orchestra is getting a new look.

The orchestra recently received a gift of cellos and bows from former associate principal cellist, Yuri Anshelevich, who played in the orchestra from 1977 to 2015.

Music director Fabio Luisi said in a statement that the gifts will enrich the sound of the cello section.
