If that’s a head scratcher, let us try to explain., Dallas residents gave the city strong grades on quality of life, satisfaction with their neighborhoods and Dallas as a place to work, with the most positive assessments outpacing the most negative assessments.
For example, 31% rated police services as poor and 11% rated those services as excellent. Forty percent also said the city does a poor job of delivering value for property taxes and fees, and 50% graded maintenance of infrastructure as poor, the largest negative assessment in the survey.Although the survey didn’t provide specific reasons about why residents feel the way they do, it doesn’t take much to decode the message.
