Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney’s brother has pleaded guilty to aggravated stalking in Alabama. Henry Ervil “Tripp” Swinney III, 54, entered his guilty plea this week in Bibb County, court records show.

Swinney, who lists a Clemson, S.C. address, was initially arrested on the felony charge on Sept. 5, 2019. Details of the allegations against him – including the grand jury indictment - have not been made public to protect the victim.

As part of the plea, Swinney is prohibited from having any contact with the victim or the victim’s family, which includes commenting on any of their social media posts. Swinney one year ago was arrested in Pickens County S.C. on a charge of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
