ByMONROE, Wash. — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a postal carrier struck a cyclist in Monroe on Tuesday night.The cyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to Snohomish County Fire & Rescue.Woods Creek Road is expected to be closed for several hours while authorities respond to the scene.

A postal carrier struck a bicyclist wearing helmet at Woods Creek Rd and Ingraham in Monroe at 8:07pm. SRFR transported the patient to a local hospital. Condition is unknown at this time.
